    Loop Maintenance Questions

    Hi All,

a few months ago, i had built my first water cooled system and its working amazing. now as a few months have gone by, i want to make sure i can maintain it properly.
i have been using Feser One only as a liquid.

my goal is to find a way to clean the loop as much as possible without disassembling it, by finding a proper liquid composition and process to run through the loop so all the
bad stuff will be drained out.

i had read some ppl do it in the following manner :
    1. drain coolant
    2. mix 10% vinegar with 90% distilled water and fill the loop
    3. run the loop for a few hours ( im gonna say ~3 just to put a number here
    4. drain again
    5. fill with distilled water and run for the same amount of hours as #3
    6. drain again as much as possible ( will always have stuff remaining in the rads )
    7. fill with coolant again

im looking for any experience and advisory here on whats the best way, whats the proper way, and if there are any potential problems

    thanks all !

If your loop is clean at the start, you havent mixed metals and you put biocide / silver in your loop, it shouldn't need any maintenance - its a closed loop, nothing should get out, nothing should get in. My last system ran for 3 years (with feser one) no maintenance and when i pulled loop apart was clean as a whistle.
