New BIOS out for the Sabertooth @ ASUS
Code:SABERTOOTH Z77 BIOS 1015 1.Improve Improve system stability. 2.Enhance compatibility with some USB devices. 3.Support new CPUs.' Please refer to our website at: http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/c...Language=en-us
It justs locks your CPU at your specified frequency.
It's worthwhile turning it on if you are benchmarking seeing as it stops the CPU from downclocking, but for 24/7 use it's not needed.

- Radiator : Thermochill PA 120.3
- Reservoir : EK-Multioption Res 250 Rev.2

Picked one up with a 3570K. Have tried MNH-E Hypers and Micron D9PFJs with up to 1.67Vdimm and loose timings (10-10-10-30-3T) and cant get it to boot Windows with memory at 2400Mhz. 2200Mhz 9-9-9 or better is no issue though. Is there some other timing preventing it? I didnt think the D9s could do 2400, but the hypers should be able to, right?

Not with 1.67 Vdimm mate, I think they need 1.8+ VDimm
I can do memtest 2400c8-8-8-27 1T at 1.75 with my GTX2 set, yet hardlock at Pi 2M loooool... need a gene board to have access to some of the magical timings

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
Got a set of Sammy 30nm, and still cant get 2400Mhz. Pushed VCCSA to 1.1v from .925v, PCH up to 1.15v, vdimm to 1.625v, set timings really loose to 11-13-13-37-2T, and it still wont post. 2200Mhz 9-10-10-28 1.6V is perfectly stable without touching anything else.
EDIT: Pushing the BCLK to 105 with the x22 multi I can get 2310Mhz. The x24 multi just doesnt want to work.

I have my new Sabertooth Z77 with an Intel 3770K, everything is fine, except one thing.
I have a keyboard Corsair K60, and this keyboard is not detected by the motherboard on the startup...
I have to unplug/plug on Windows, and it's fine, but if i don't the keyboard is off...
Somebody else have this issue too with an USB device ?
I've just see the new bios 1015, I will try it asap.
Hi, got everything together today and on firing it up I get RED CPU LED and a constant beep. Disconnected nearly everything and still get the Red CPU LED, beep went away. From computer panel I only have the power switch wired. No Ram, no Cooler, no Vid Cards, no Drives etc.
Using a Corsair 750 Watt PSU which I've had for about a year.
Intel Core i7 3770
Sabertooth Z77.
Noctua NC14

Would greatly appreciate any help. Saw a similar post on older motherboards and Raja mentioned trying one stick in 4th slot - that didn't do anything for me. Also - I updated to latest UEFI before I ever powered up. Seemed to go successfully.
So i've never seen anything on screen. Freaked out and powered off by holding down power button on all my attempts.
Thanks!
Update - RMA'd the board. Wasn't able to solve using diff power supplies, disconnecting everything, etc. Power/CPU installed properly....
New board worked like a charm.

I think the thread should be wiped - no activity.
did you checked the cpu power supply (8 or 4 pin) ? did you try the memory compatibility button ?
this looks similar to your issue :

A bit behind, but 1206 BIOS out on June 8.

Seems like 1403 was removed from the Asus website for some reason? Anyone know why?
I've still got it installed atm.

I am trying to figure out what MB to get for my Ivy build, and this definately looks cool.
Anyone know if there will be a Rampage MB with Z77 ?

Sorry to say, but the amount of info in this thread is very low compared to other "official" threads
