Yes, i was also googleing for it and checked a lot of pages. Not much info for eyefinity resolutions. However i feel that 2 cards in CF is a good choice. 7950 would be better for eyefinity, since 1GB extra memory can make the difference in some games. If you dont have extra bucks for 2x 7950, then 2x 7870 is definately second choice.
Im running my BF3 5760x1200 on single highly overclocked HD 7950 (1200/1750) at the moment, but soon perhaps i get a second one as well.

I watched some 7950CF reviews. 2 cards scaling is nearly perfect 100% in some cases and overally it scales very well. I didnt saw anyone complaining about micro stuttering anywhere. So draivers should be mature enought.

Yeah, the 7950's are gonna be my second choice for eyefinity. Just wish that the reviewers would do some surround gaming reviews on the newer cards, with something other than "Skyrim"....

Looking at some GTX680 "eyefinity" reviews, im not shure that "only" 2gb is limiting it very much...

256bit mem interface and 2GB both are limiting it on surround mode. while in 1920x1200 the GTX leads over 7870 by around 10%, then in 5760x1200 they are dead even or already Radeon in lead.
Another point to note is that HD7970 scales way better with overclock at eyefinity (surround) resolutions and Crossfire 7970 against SLI 680 does too.
So if you want to go 3+ monitor setup in games, the HD is better choice without the doubt.
