Just got hold of four 680's, not all mine tho but I'm gonna do some SLI testing over the easter holliday.

Thanks, is a 3960X .... the truth is that I not that is so used to the turbo bost is among the first attempts have if they take a bios editor and we can make some changes ....

me neither i want something like before playing BF3 on def settings the card sometimes uses 1,175 at 1000 core wich is nonsense for me either way they dont heat like others

Temperature are wonderfull 42°c after three hours of gaming, quality is very good and assembly is easier than 7970. But i'm a little disappointed one of my cards is not as good as the other...

well happens i cant give more than +180 maybe one is better than the other but still monsters i luv them

on this tech i dont think u need the WB for go further on OC for what i read we are already unlocked to 1,21 unless u do a voltmod to it

Yes water is only for cooling and silence no more oc headroom, with 7970 there is at leat 50mhz to gain on core. On the 680 the ram only oc more +50mhz. Some more points:

Had some LN2 fun here this evening.


I'm not impressed by the scaling with four 680's on any of the benchmarks I've tested.

the cards seems to be improving each day slowly i try not tu punish them now they do perfect +200 on core +540 on mem

thanks bud second card wont do +200 +540 at first but every day i test a bit and now both passes fine im very happy now time to up CPU

I managed to score P9795 with my CPU only running @3.6ghz. Not too shabby for an older i7 860. Also, the one downside of having 16gb ram on a P55 motherboard is that it just doesn't like to run very fast. Oh well...

whats your overclock in that? 3dmark only picks up the ram being 3100mhz, so i know you added 100mhz there, but the core is just reads as 700 for everyone.

Anyone knows if the PCIE 3.0 is going to be fixed? I wonder if its going to make any difference in performance.
I'm not in a hurry to buy 680s, but it feels wrong to buy those cards and having them running at PCIE 2.0 at x8...

It might make a little difference with up to four GPU's, I've never heard of anyone in the existence of PCIe suffering from performance losses do to a lack of PCIe bandwidth.
