    Case Labs STH10 --> 2xSR1 560 Project Genesis.

This will be my first water cooling build and it won't be completed overnight, this will be a couple of months worth of build time so please bare with me. I have just installed one of my Hardware Labs SR1 560 radiators and I just can't believe how much room is left in the lower chamber, this case really is the Titanic of water cooling cases! One thing unique about this build is the use of Gentle Typhoon AP-15's mounted to BGears 120 -> 140mm fan adapters and then finely mounted to the 140mm SR1 560 radiators.

Here are some pictures showing you just how much radiator the STH10 can hold, both SR1 560 radiators will be mounted in the lower chamber while the upper chamber will house the power supply, so I have a lot more room to play with! This particular radiator mount was designed for 35mm fans, I need this mount to fit the Gentle Typhoon AP-15's and the adapters which is the same thickness as 35mm fans. The second SR1 560 will mount to the shallow 140mm radiator mount, but the fans plus adapters with be located on the inside in a push only setup, because these GT fans don't perform well in pull so far away from the SR1 series radiators and double that distance with the 140mm adapters.

This water cooling build will house an Ivy Bridge 3770K Quad Core 5+GHz, GTX680 and/or GTX780 (GK110) and will SLI two of these beasts! I will be going with full MB water blocks mainly for the VRM's, I don't WC Ram. I'm still having a difficult time choosing either a Crucial M4 or Samsung SSD as these are fast as hell, still undecided, only one SSD will will be used in this build. Sorry for the slightly underexposed pictures, its the best my camera can do as I'm looking to upgrade to a DLSR soon.

What can i say. Pity i didn't knew about caselabs when i started my build. This case seem to have everything i need + i love such clean line minimallistic case designs, that truly show aesthetically high class unlike cheap plastic bling with mirriad of protruding or extruding forms for kids. This seems like 800D+TJ7+Mike's design on steroids [tm]

This is indeed really nice case, decent project.
I wish they were making version with just 1 compartment though, putting a 560 and 280 with psu in one of them (tj07 style), would be more than enough for most rigs, and case would be more compact. This monster can take up to 3x560.

Makes me sad seeing these CaseLabs cases only a bit more than a year after I bought a MM Pinnacle 24

Looks much nicer and easier to work in.

Your post about cheap extruding plastic reminds me of an Asus case that had an egg shape to it with jet like intakes on each side, you either love or you hated it! Funny thing was it never really sucked in much air through the intakes, I looked for a picture of it but was unable to find it.

Some people are installing two 560's in lower chamber and two 360's upper chamber with dual power supplies!

You won't believe how easy it is to remove the ventilated side panels and the roof, they simply pop off with ease! I could remove both side doors, all the ventilated side panels, front and the roof in under 30 seconds! The STH10 is more about functionality while still looking attractive, we have yet to see some killer paint jobs on this case. And to think I was going to buy Silverstone's TJ11, how limited can you get? You have to mod it to even fit any radiators into it and the window is to small for my tastes, check out the accessories for this case! Tubing Management for the three fan holes in top/bottom section of case, fan covers for intake fans, anti-vibration 5.25" device mounts.... Endless.

Well I finely got the second SR1 560 installed, I can't believe I have 60mm clearance between the radiators! Also I have 92mm clearance between the threaded 1/4" inlet/outlet ports between both radiators, that's just amazing! Next is the pluming, I want to use some dual VID adjustable connectors with either 1-2 Slot Spacing connectors on each side with a 3-way T fitting in the center to allow the use of a drain plug. I'm thinking that I could also have the ports at opposite ends so one port could be right under the GPU and come up through to the GPU using a Koolance QDC and the other port nearest to the pump, suggestion wanted!

If you have air direction in both rads going one way (i'm guessing based on rad/fan placement), then clearance between them probably shouldn't matter much (though fact that one rad is cooled by preheated air from another probably not good). Small clearance matter though with opposite air flow direction..

In the real world it isn't going to make much difference, I mean it's not like having slightly warmer air (1-2C higher) is going to keep me from overclocking my 3770K from 4.8GHz to 5GHz. I always use more radiator than I need, people have been doing side by side radiators in one direction flow wise for many years in the TJ07. From doing the math I will be as close to ambient temps as anyone can get with water cooling, the effect of having 1-2C higher airflow through the second radiator is so tiny it's almost unmeasurable.

The SR1 on the back side will be the first of the two radiators getting the warmest water and then the SR1 on my side (MB window side) will be receiving even cooler water before entering back into the blocks again. An opposite air flow direction for two radiators this close would be the most counterproductive setup, their wouldn't be enough new air to re-enter. Of course you knew that, just had to say it.

If 1-2C degrees may affect stability of chosen clocks, then i'd say to hell with such, that's not stable in my book (that would also mean that slight ambient temp variations will affect it as well). Thing should be stable at specific clocks even with temps getting at least 5 degrees worse.
BTW, i'm curious, can rad be mounted on the floor of bottom rad compartment in this case? As in one on one case side, another one on floor, and excaust air from both coming out on another side of said rad compartment?

I don't see how clocks can be effected at (2-5C water/air delta) near ambient water temperatures, perhaps I'm misunderstanding. I'm not sure I understand your question, there are only two rad mounts on bottom and two rad mounts on top.

    Very nice build so far

Those cases are beasts for sure. Very tall sitting next to your desk.

Will you end up putting wheels on the bottom for ease in moving around ?

Thank you, it will be placed on my desk as I don't like them on the floor. That is where all the dust settles and blowing that around isn't pretty since I'm allergic to dust.

Strap it to the wall so it doesnt fall over, your in earth quake country LOL

Yup I agree on that getting it off the floor because of dust. Out here in the central valley I am not sure if that helps a whole lot, so much dust here.

I literally live next to the Interstate 5 (I-5) so dust is a major problem here! Earthquakes is the main reason why I didn't mount my 55" LCD to the wall in fear that the glass would shatter in a side to side Earthquake, I have strong clear fishing line securing it to the wall so it doesn't fall over. We are long overdo for "The Big One"!

I haven't decided if I'm going to have the radiators opposed so the inlet/outlets are opposite of each other, one thing is for certain I will have the main outlet that goes to the blocks the radiator on the MB window side.
