Well the best GB/$ here in Shanghai are the 500GB drives, most likely as these are made/assembled in China. Anything over the 500GB is limited, a WD 1TB 1002FAEX is $165 USD on newegg.china.

Yeah, the main issue from the flood was the part suppliers got taken out. Western Digital and Seagate were ready to go shortly after the water retreated but they ran out of parts...
