I'm in the process of picking out my liquid cooling setup. I really like both EK and Bitspower fittings but am not sure which are best. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you would ask me. I would go for Bitspower. I have tried EK, Phobya and Bitspower. No doubt about it. Bitspower has a way more quality feel. I bet it's not only me who feels that. There is a reason there is so many people posting liquid cooled computers with bitspower fittings everywhere!

I've had both EK and Bitspower in my loops but I've noticed that the Bitspower finish chips and wears prematurely and the EK models can be used again and again without these issues. Another thing to note is the EK fittings have a bigger barb on them and hold much better IMO.

What size are you using? Whatever you do, do not use EK 7/16 x 5/8 compressions. They are a real pita. Super tight fitting for the tube over barb and even worse for screwing the compression nut down. Can only manage about 1 full turn on some of mine. Will be changing back to Bitspower as soon as.
I have Bitspower, Koolance and the Monsoon fittings and my preference is the Monsoon by far. They do not eat up my fingers like the BP's and look better than the Koolance compressions fittings IMHO.

What is the good about the monsoon free?
Are they better performing?

They are easy to use, don't mess up your fingers, allow for tight spacing, look awesome, same if not less cost than others and did I mention they look awesome?

when it comes to fittings, i dont think "performance" comes into play too often. with fittings, it's either the bling factor (or not), or ease of use....don't think they add or subtract from the performance of the loop.
