    My 2 Mountain Mods build

    Main rig

    4X Asus 7970 Quad-Fire with EK-FC7970 waterblocks EN-nickel Acetal.

EK waterblock (EN nickel-plexi) on Rampage IV with 16Gb of G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL7. Using 2 PSU in there: Antec HCP-1200 with Corsair AX850. 4 pumps MCP655 total. And lots of radiators: 2X Quad-120mm in the Pedestal, 3X Triple-120 in front and 2X XSPC Dual-120 on top.

Pedestal 24 under my MM Extended Ascension.

    3X30'' LCD with Quad-Fire 4X 7970 set-up at 7680x1600

    BBC2

    L4D2

AVP. That picture is not good because it's a really dark scene, and didn't set-up my tripod# So it was a ''handheld twilight'' shot.

Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033 at 7680X1600.

And my second build: kids computer, for LAN gaming. Finally had some spare time to finish that build for my kids.

Mountain Mods U2-UFO (with alot of DIY and modding), Maximus IV + i7 2600K at 5.1 24/7, 16Gb of RAM, AMD 7970.

Had to DIY the top to fit a 2X120mm XSPC rad.

Had to also mod the other side to fit a 1X140mm rad over the HDD.

    Modded top view.

    Front view.

    Everything working view. :)

Interesting builds but why the massive use of fittings?

And this is were I'm gaming in glorious 4K resolution.

4K projector on a 8 feet wide screen.

Main room (dedicated HT). Totally acoustically measured and treated by an acoustician. Not a single LED in the room to break my ANSI CR. Dedicated electrical line and dedicated electrical panel. 6X 20A to power everything. 7X 325w for 7 speakers and 2X 325w for to subs.

Projector in the back of the room. You can see the lens. Projector was professionnally calibrated.

There is 4 bass-shakers in each sitting places.

4 way masking system at 2.35:1

And some pictures I took of a 4K movie on my 8 feet wide screen.

Much better then any 3X30" LCDs or 5X screens out there. Gaming in true 7.1 surround, in a totally black room, on 8 feet wide screen in 4K resolution is simply crazy.

Those are 8 feet wide in reality!

Pharmacist: The non DR. whose advice you take over any MD's.
That's not me buttering you up.
Twice I've had problems that Dr's just shook their heads at and one trip to the Pharmacist and issues settled with no BS or $275.00 DR's visit.

I forgot to say I also own a shoe store and a pub in my shopping mall. And also have a B.Sc in biochemistry and a minor in chemistry.

Thank you guys. It was a dream come true for me. A high-end audio/video/movie/gaming room, fully treated and separated form the rest of the house, was a dream I had for years when studying hard and working 40 hours a week while at the university.

I can crank the sound and the wife don't hear a thing and can't complain.

For those interested in the construction of my dedicated room, you can go see it here:

    http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=378645

There is a "Show details" with a green plus sign on the top right corner if you want to see more details. You can also click of the small pics to get more info.

My HT is called "Home Theater with a view" for a reason. Took those pics relaxing in my backyard while looking at the sunset. No modifications, real colors directly from the camera.

Can I ask how do you game in 4K resolution? Does the projector take multiple input signals and combine them like Eyefiity/Surround or is it just taking a 1080P signal and "up-convert" that signal in the projector? (The only 4k Projectors I can find only up-convert standard 1080P).

I've always been interested in 4K displays but it seems like the source and delivery (cable) is always the problem. There is no one way to get 4K resolution from a graphics setup like your Quad-7970's to the projector. If it just up-scales regular 1080P that obviously wouldn't look as good as real 4K and I'd imagine there would be a quite a bit of input lag introduced. I understand for movies its extremely hard to get true 4K source and people just use 1080P signals.

Yep. You're right... for now it,s upconverting, but it's surprinsigly good. And I know alot of people in the video industries (since I'm a part time projectors/displays reviewer and calibrator), so I got alot of true 4K material from those guys. It's really impressive to watch. Some people even get nausea while watching a train moving for exemple, because it looks so real, their brain compute the movement and they get nauseated.

Got a new Corsair K90 with Cherry MX red. I love it! Awesome keyboard!

Still got my Leopold tenkeyless with blues and browns, but my favorite is now the Corsair with the reds.

    Blues for typing.
    Reds for gaming.
