Virtu Universal MVP Enable
http://www.xfastest.com/thread-72998-1-1.html
Nice board. I love the new ASRock boards and my P67 Extreme4 Gen3 is really good. The only crap is the position of the extra molex for CF/SLI setup and I see they didn't change it
I guess I've been hiding under a rock for a while, but from what I saw there, the new Lucid Virtu MVP technology helps out quite a bit, correct? If so that is quite spectacular
Yes if this work in games too(which should work) than it's avesome

From Asrock site:
Virtu Universal MVP - Uncompromised Game Response Performance
1. HyperFormance™ :
A new technology which combines integrated and discrete graphics for uncompromised performance and improves gaming frame rates 30-70%.
It’s also supported with both ATI™ and NVIDIAŽ graphics cards.
2. Virtual Vsync :
A technology designed to solve the ever lasting debate between quality and performance. Bring GPU performance from 60 FPS Vsync limit back to its maximum while keeping Vsync image quality and no tearing.

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

How about microstuttering? Isn't this MVP thing using AFR? If you couple that with asymmetric resources like a slow and a fast card you are bound to run into choppiness.
How much driver dependancy is there in Mvp? will it need profiles to work?
Also, I don't spot any ocing in this test either...

wow, loving the MVP technology. Atleast then, the inbuilt gpu is less of a waste for us using dedicated cards. Would it make the CPU run hotter?
Hating the molex connector though. What is it for?
Edit: My bad. Asus has virtu MVP also.
It also seem it works with z68 cards, but not as well? http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=4266014

MVP... special to very certain boards only? This seems like a very interesting feature as it's not only a small but a quite noticable boost. I'm sure there has to be a hook somewhere (microstuttering?) besides price.

If all people would share opinions in an objective manner, the world would be a friendlier place
Some time ago I read in an article about this feature that they leave out rendering steps that would supposedly not degrade image quality. I'm highly sceptical about this thing. In fact, I think it's nonsense. To make yourself dependent on profiles with a single GPU is not wise.
I wonder how MVP would work with more than one dedicated card. Say if you where normally running SLI or something. Also i wonder what game support will be like. I remember LUCID promised massive things a while back as to revolutionizing the multi GPU market but the game support was pretty bad. I wonder if this will be any different.

What's the price difference for a motherboard with MVP? Unless it's a freebie, it seems to me that you'd be better off spending the extra money on a better graphics card.
Any SLI is a potential pain. I'd thoroughly support letting my operating system only ramp up the GPU part of the APU in the desktop environment. That would let my video card stay idle. But I think I'd prefer it ignored the APU entirely for gaming. I suppose I'll have to wait and see how well it works in the reviews.
Virtu MVP does not work with multiple GPUs.
