Yeah I have BIOS 881 installed and worked great with a 2500K. I am using G.Skill Trident X 2600's and they were working great with SB as well.
Starting to think it may be the board but the 2500K is in the system I am using and don't want to change it till tomorrow to test.

Try to boot up with 1 stick mem. and change setting in bios to loose hynix first and save it. See if it can boot with 2 sticks (or 4)

I can't get to the BIOS. Now it shows d0 code with one stick.

Yeah same thing. Tried some Hyper Dom's and same thing.

I get weird code sometimes after bad memory OC attempt. But with the latest couple bioses, I cant remember having to even clear the cmos. I would try remounting the CPU, try booting with bare minimum hardware connected just to try and get to the bios.

Weird it was working fine with the 2500k.

Might be I have remounted several times tried several combinations. I will let you know if it boots with the 2500K tomorrow.
Maybe I will try reflashing with the ROG Connect. Think I rename the BIOS file M5G.rom and hold done the connect button for a few seconds.

Format the drive fat32 first, rename the bios, then flash with ROG connect.

Having run SB with UD7 (P67 B1/B3) for more than a year. Always the same board and a lot of 2600Ks oc'd to the hilt I get used to reboots before it settled to highest settings for benching.

With Z77 deluxe and M5G so far its smooth sailing when it comes to oc air and cold

So this is kinda strange. I had the LN2 jumper on but after it wasn't booting I pulled it off. That is what stopped me from getting into the BIOS again. After putting it back on and clearing CMOS I was able to get back in the BIOS but after setting defaults it would still not post after save and exit. I cleared CMOS again, got back into BIOS and flashed but after reboot still no post.

Memories these days man !! pfiouuuh ^^

I only have F3-17066CL9T-6GBPS(BBSE) and CMT6GX3M3A2000C8(PCS) from my X58 rig atm and the best i can do with 1.67vDIMM is 1100Mhz 9-9-8-21-1T tRFC 85 with the g-skills.
1200Mhz i cant finish a 32M even with less tight timings + 1.78vDIMM

I did that 32M on h24 OS.

What between these two kits would fit best for spi benching, assuming that bbse are better (?) ?

I'm using the Samsung 30nm kit, and Corsair H100 for the CPU.

How can I improve this - I tried a lot and it seems to either hit a wall, or me not knowing how to go faster.
Where's the big guns to explain how to push further!

1.88v is vdimm is too much for those sticks under non-ln2 conditions, they get worse at that voltage on air, you sure thats what they like?

Vdimm than 1.88v will fail at 11th loop.
So i used 1.88v for the following after 32m passed.
CHA/B Data Vref Auto will fail spi at 2-3 loops
CHA/B Data Vref 0.5v passed <- so this is the key
Load loose Hynix profile will fail spi instantly
Transmitter slew 4-4-5-5 or auto passed, no effect on score

Just put the 2500K in the Gene and it booted fine. Updated the BIOS on the Z68Xp to the latest and put the 3770K in and no booty. Die CPU DIE!
