anyone tested them over the 0881?

My apologies, but I why not naming the BIOS files in rising order?
The official is 0701, we all used 0881, and now a new one with the code 0074.

Obviously there is logic behind the naming decision, i just wonder what I'm missing.
dont get me wrong.. I'll take *anything* you throw at us, Sir, but this is kind of confusing

Got the retail 3770k today. Havent done much playing yet, hope to spend some time this weekend tweaking.

Need to get a decent kit of memory to play with now. Get 23 code at 2933mhz, but with a good kit 2800 will be pretty easy. Load vcore for wprime 5ghz 1.392v.

Memory was on the edge of POST on anything below 1.7V.
anything higher will allow you to POST. just play with the mem V settings to find the sweet spot of your kit.
mine was stable at 1.73V and booted Win7 smooth.


I'm using H100 for CPU, and for the memory the DOMINATOR GT fan kit from a previous X58 system.
funny thing is.. I can't, for the love of God, re-bench all the Futuremarks and CPU benches with that timing.. starting yesterday morning.
I'm living in Cleveland and our area was stable (lol) around 45F and within few days it sky rocketed to higher 80's.

Its so hot outside, I simply can not reproduce what I did just few days ago.
will wait for an opportunity to do it all over again in few days when it is supposed to get a bit colder.

I urge you folks to practice on this timing for as long as you can.
dealing 2600 and 2666 after, will not look that 'hard'.

Can you guys gimme some help with a bios? I have a 3770k and MVE gene bios for 6950/6970 but all I can find is this guide.
I got the beer part but after that I cant figure out the settings. I just want to max my mem out and see if this chip is any decent before i mount the pot. it does 4.6 easy with no voltage increase. what should I go for if I am on good h2i at 21c?
