Check out the Digi+ VRM and 8 pin power locations! Also, the socket is finally in the middle of the board instead of right next to the PCIe slot. Looks like the Digi+ VRM location could hinder a few larger heatsinks.

Wow that looks awesome. I'm becoming a big fan of smaller motherboards with fewer features, half the crap they put on "deluxe" boards I never end up using anyway so if I could plug a 580 class video card and an Ivy Bridge 4.5ghz+ in this, I think it'll be my next build.
http://www.journit.com <-- tech news site that's easy on the eyes.
Mind blown.

I believe these will OC, but how far? And will gigabyte have something comparable like the 1156 board everyone loves.

What's with people's obsession over small motherboards? Just curious. :p

If all people would share opinions in an objective manner, the world would be a friendlier place
What Oblivion Said. This board looks to be as robust as any ATX board, minus the expansion options. Most people don't need anything besides a wifi card (which this has via mini PCIe) and single video card. Why take up more room? A single 2TB or 3TB HDD & 1 SSD are enough for basically everyone on here for a gaming or typical PC.
My gigabut did have VRM problems. OCing later on because a pain in the butt and I think they needed one or two more bios revisions to fix a few issues w/ OCing.

new stuff is cool.
though this shouldnt be new. it shouldn't have taken almost 10 years since people started building small computers for board makers to release itx boards that overclock.
we've made a big jump in a short period of time because they've just begun to pay attention. with this motherboard, the new noctua heatsink, ivy bridge, and an sg08, I'm pretty sure you could rig up a silent 5ghz + 7970/680 breadbox. and easily now, not with so much frigging around as before.
Sweet looking board![]()

I think Its time to go hunting for an ITX case that can fit my enermax PSU, a full size videocard, and the right watercooling system
***edit: maybe something like this would do, don't like the style but its roomy unlike my isk300.
