Thumbs up Christian Ney hit worldrecord - 3736 MHz DDR3 Gskill RipjawsZ at AMD Llano !!

Four weeks ago I was participating at the Llano Overclocking competition at hwbot.org. My processor appeared to be quite good for memory overclocking paired with memory kits powered by Hynix H9C memory chips. I managed some very good results but I wanted to get more out of this setup. So this is what I came up with.

    ENG version: http://www.ocaholic.ch/xoops/html/mo...l_lang=english

    PS: congratulations "mr Hwbot" :-)

I will go on my knees when CN shows some real world performance that matters in benches with that mhz but so far I can only say congratulations to a WR that is almost as important as UH DX9 or 3DM11 Entry...the "friend zone"...

    Awesome .

Memory speed makes a big difference.
For the avg user, ram speed don't mean much for solitaire.
The higher the ram speed the faster it can get done the larger workloads.

It's on Lano which does BTW have inegrated graphics with shared memory...

For the record world records are meaningless to everyday users regardless of what they represent.
