    External Radiator Box Choices?

Other than building one... >.> which I sort of am in the process, but its not working out as well as I hoped.

What are my options for buying a external radiator box that will hold three 360 radiators in push-pull config with shrouds between the fans and radiators, which means the width of the radiator and fans is 7inches. Also looking for a place to put a tube res and a Koolance 450 pump.

I saw one from Danger Dan, another from Phobya. I'm not sure if the internal depth of the Phobya will take a 7 inch sandwich, the Danger Dan one might, but still not sure, since they don't show a good schematic, and no one seemed to put internal depth in their reviews.

Anywho, just looking around, as some of my woodwork skills and tools are well to be desired.

I tried to build a small one out of wood, it was a disaster :p

I really wanted to keep the Silverstone case, but in the end solved everything with a CaseLabs M8.

As far as I have seen there's just the one triple rad box

IIRC there might be one by Phobya aswell. Don't know though if it fits three triples or only their 9x120 though.
BTW, if speaking of DIY .. why not make something high instead of square? I mean along the lines of this.

damn, it'd be cheaper to buy something from ikea and the tools to modify it. Or get a cheap-o computer case from newegg and gut it.

http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/waterc...se/82-wat.html This one is 220mm wide and 230mm High. You will still need to work this to suit your needs

    or maybe

http://www.caselabs-store.com/pedestal-assembly/ More expensive but in US. Don't know much about these.

    Do MM do small pedestals?

Defect9: one i linked to was mostly given as design sample. and speaking of it's very high price you have to remember that it has in set 1) built in pump, 2) built in aquaero5 xt with remote control to monitor & control pump and fans, 3) not exactly cheapest aquacomputer's modularity system rads.

I was actually replying to the post before yours, which was about 1/4 the cost (which still sounds expensive to me for just a box). we posted at nearly the same time.

Phobya offers a box, and a "bench edition" stand. I have the box and while I think it's a little overpriced for the build quality, it's functional and looks good enough.

Well, in the interest of saving money, I have decided to not use my three TFC 360s and instead just mount my two other smaller radiators inside my Cosmos II. This of course leaves my TFCs unused, but please don't rush to send me PMs requesting I mail them to you. I will decided once my rig is up and running what I plan to do with them.

Speaker box is really creative. You even get a dust filter for free. Really interesting way to hide rads, if you go external, and don't like looks of rad boxes or just rads with feet.

FrozenCPU is expensive.. It would be better to buy from DangerDen or performance-pcs.

Performance-PC's doesn't take care of their inventory and sometimes try to pass off used products as new, or sell products they know are blemished.

    Shes booked for months?

I have a few designs kicking around for external rad boxes. I just need motivation to actually make one.

MM pedestals are quite expensive for what they are. Thin aluminum sheet metal, bending and powder coating.

I would just construct a simple wooden box and drill this into the bottom panel.
