Funny, I had doa on one team kit, one stick was dead in spite of package being sealed, but second one did great job, results are somewhere here in thread - I think discussion is done, everyone has right to his own opinion and I agree that this is not the place to have personal quarrel^^

In all fairness, the board can have an effect on clocking even with CPUs with good IMCs if the BIOS isn't mature, just ask EVGA Z77 FTW customers.

Memory clocking is pretty much depends on personal preference when it comes to stability, type of bench, voltage, timings, Mhz and cooling..unless the ram kit is a real dud.

The voltages could be adjusted better if I got time later.

Just got in a 4x4GB set of these from eBay this week. I haven't had much time to play with them but here are a few quick runs on my 3570K+MVE combo.

MFR is not our friend unless it's in 8GB sticks... Single-sided kills efficiency, as your screenshot above shows.

Just out of the box testing to check base settings and to try 32m @ 3000 runs. No focus on efficiency with sub and tert timings

(offtopic - may be a separate thread is in order since it's a completely different model)

    Look up "Bank Interleave".

I've read about it, but I thought dual channel worked with the sticks in pairs, hence having 4 would imply two pairs basically. Didn't knew that would increase performance somehow.

Odd sticks, these. Can't get them stable on my X79 platform (RIVE+3930K) whereas TridentX with the same specs are. The Team 2400C9 work fine on MVE+3570k.

I don't think that kit is new/incoming they announced the 3000 kit a year ago going by that thread & they are no longer listed as available.

I have seen a set of these in the flesh but could not borrow them or pop the spreaders :-( they were also rated 1.65 ~ 1.75v @ 3000

Also I failed to check if they were single/dual rank but looking at the picture I would have said they were dual.
