I bought these kits from Neweeg when they first came out.

Probly you already know that theres never guaranteed in overclocking any new retail hardware not too mention cpu's imc capability

yeh i do know that. but having just picked up those 2400 tridentx which were doing well, then finding my kit was single sided and incapable of 2600, im a bit weary of purchasing something else.

Did you check your cpu's imc? Imo its better to find a cpu with imc capable to scale to 2700+ first then buy the 2600+ ram

Thinking of picking up a kit. They worth the $115 (on sale) vs $60 for the 2133 kit for Ivy?

I'm also inclined to pick up a kit such as this one. Does anyone know if the this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144566 uses the same ICs? or is it BFR on it? Price differs also by ~50euros (Team kit more expensive). Thank you, and sorry for the off topic.
