At least you tried FaYt Just me & Shadowwind left then Really a poor show from the XS site. All too busy running benchmarks I guess

ty FaYt also enjoy your stay in the states on your vacation.
stoneageman im glad i can help,im on a solar grid here so that computer is free on power for me.
i can add 1 more card in the mix but it wont be a high end card, low watt card is needed to be able to maintain free crunching.
going green i like..
I had to move the Loonym rig back home (long story) but, i'll see about running those 9370s in there. if i can get it working, I can get 4 of them going on the same platform.

ty hope they work out,
i had the pleasure of meeting loonym he is missed by all that knew him,
keep up the good work Dave,
shadow,
you're up in Maine, eh?
Just grabbed a Lian Li PC-90 case today from 'Egg to get the SR-2 mounted....hopefully, I'll have the blowers and everything working properly (the 9370s are passively cooled...)

yes im in Maine and Massachusetts two houses just waiting on the market to get a little better to sell the house in MA,
nice case wish i bought one when i order my micro itx setup with x16 lane for budget crunching,
I'll be back soon need to figure out what the problem is, it is really the D@H project cause thats the only thing i changed now it runs perfect...
First thing that comes to mind is either failing PSU or just overloading your PSU... I've done that a few times. If the PSU is over 5 years old running 24/7 and you load it near the limits it can do that. Even if the things not quite ready to fail outright, the lack of power can cause it to spontaneously restart.
hey Dave do those cards have cross fire i noticed skgiven posted your thread in donate@home forum.
maybe we can get you some help from the XS guys.
the cards DO have a crossfire finger on each however, these are not usually used for gaming...rather, they're designed for GPU compute... I do have a GPU-Z screenshot lying around somewhere...
EDIT: here's the validation screen: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/9mquv/

ok if you got a cross fire connection and have the crossfire ribbon try connecting 2 cards up.
take the other 2 vidcards out just run 2 for now.
enable in advance gpu"s always on in boinc i did this with my fire pro v 5800s cards then and both cards
should work.
then i disabled crossfire connected a dummy plug to the second card and both cards are running independently.
also down load new driver if auto update has one for your cards.
i hope that will work for you.
so, couple of notes:
a.) CCC keeps crashing on my system (this is Server 2008 R2 x64, btw... )
b.) no Crossfire ribbon
c.) I've got GPUs always on enabled

how far are you away from old sturbridge village? i got a meeting there tomorrow at 11 am to go to,
i got some crossfire ribbons and to make it worth the trip i will donate a vidcard for loony Pm me.
gratz on getting it up and running Dave.
now turn it on
any one knows the value of 50 bitcoin i did not know i had any till i looked at the top users on the page on donate at home hmmm whats it good for. I thought i was helping a young kid to go to school till he learns his new trade.
switched my HTPC to windows and added this little fella to D@H
ATI GPU 0: AMD SUPERSUMO (CAL version 1.4.1720, 512MB, 284 GFLOPS peak)
I like large posteriors and I cannot prevaricate
[QUOTE=Evantaur;5096413]switched my HTPC to windows and added this little fella to D@H
and here i was thinking you had hired a 400 lbs sumo to shake down all the bitcoin you could get.
just playing around,
What's a reasonable midrange card ... Say about 200 usd?
Never played with ATI so I'm gonna need help
If you've got a spare OC'd GTX570 or 580 use them. They will earn you more points at Donate than at GPUgrid & not be far off a $200 ATI card
also for mid range ATI card the 6870 or the 6950 are in the 200 dollar range, they put up decent points also.
Put my main rig on D@H today. I have the resource share for GPUGrid set to 1,000 and Donate@Home set to 10. So I will do a couple work units each week
Also my Part-time rig is running D@H only, probably can count on about 6-20 hours per day.

Out of work for 12+ hours. Seems that they've lost interest in the project
SAM I see you moved from D@H to WCG or other projects. Now I'm coming for your spot! 4000 days and counting to overtake!

we are not going to produce new updates for donate@home for now.
Reason being that it is likely that gpus will become soon too slow to mine for bitcoins replaced by new ASIC processors.
