Maingear EPIC T1000 Thermal Interface Review (Legit Reviews)

Read the full review. More information (Maingear's website)

Testing has shown this can be as much as three times (3x) better performance than the best TIMs based on aluminum, silver, and diamond. The MAINGEAR EPIC T1000 is the only phase change metal alloy engineered thermal interface on the market. It outpaces even the finest thermal greases by up to 11%. It helps us keep your overclocked CPU cool and quiet. Not compatible with Intel retail stock coolers.
MX-4 Performance 4.8GHz Overclock vs Maingear EPIC T1000 Performance 4.8GHz Overclock

Running our system at 4.8GHz with Maingear's EPIC T1000 Thermal Interface Solution gives us an average temperature of 65.75C which is an improvement of 7.75C for a massive 11% average gain in thermal dissipation.

they got feser to do the "independent" testing. some how each time they make a new product they get like 10c better out of it.

they must have added some sort of nanocoating to that tim to make it so good.

I'm just poking fun that all their products are "EPIC" this and "EPIC" that.

the max temperature range is the same. 1 degree different at the top, which is nothing and within an imaginable error range. so I am not impressed by the difference.

To me, I only worry about sub zero performance... it means I don't mind if is the best at +50ºC but can not be good at -150 in a GTX 580....lol
