No it's for real. India an Pakistan have been threatening to nuke each other to hell for years.

At least they shake hands, unlike this lot with their finger on the nuke button.
This is the only road crossing between India and Pakistan and hence the daily March. As an Indian, even I do not understand the Military Tradition behind this sort of March but this is not the regular march/drill of Indian Army (or Pakistan's I suppose), it certainly looks funny but the Armymen from both the countries are filled with pride to do this, though as a civilian it seems to me, in times of peace this is a way for soldiers of both the countries to vent their anger
EVGA Classified (MSI XPower), 980X (i5 661, i5 680, i7 950, E8600, QX9650, E8400), Thermalright Venomous X , Kingston Hyper X 2000Mhz, MSI 480GTX (5870, 4870x2, Visiontek 3870 x2, XFX 8800GT w/HR03GT), DELL E248WFP, CM Silent Power Pro 1000W, Seagate 1TB + 1TB + 500GB+500GB, Auzentech X-Plosion, CM Bench Station, AL 641, MX 518, New G15 Keyboard
that was pretty epic, bet they have well sore feet after!
While all the kicking and stomping and exaggerated movement might look pretty silly to the modern eye, that's the way the British military did many drill/ceremonial activities during the Raj (and even today). The Indian/Pakistani infantries incorporated the choreography into their traditions and they have remained even after the British withdrew.
I think it actually comes off pretty cool. If it didn't have the pomp & pagentry, it'd be boring.
very cool
