It's faster and usable now, but still the slowest forum I visit by a wide margin. Maybe some are overly optimistic.

Are PM notification emails working for anyone?
Ok, figured out how to do a ping test (and considering my network skills that should come as a shock) and did here and OCN. Was actually faster here

So even though I'm not that up on what the means pretty sure that it's on par with any other site.
So maybe it really is something to do with where you are Mr. Beier?

Indeed it does, the numbers I get ~166ms at the moment.
In other words, international routing isnt the best from the host.. (NB; I live less than 2 miles from the IX / IXP, it is at the university I attend)

Mucho faster for me than before thanks though I haven't received any email notifications since the 19/02 but those have been broken for soooooo 'kin long now I despair if they will ever be fixed
Maybe its time to change over to an apple server
lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's
Searches don't work.
They either only search since the new server (most members), or for example I searched for chew*'s old posts (he hasn't posted in a month) and it only gave me results from 2005.
Smile
Same issue here. I was looking for a post from IFMU and came up with nothing since 2005.

Running pretty decent for me, a few bugs that have been mentioned but getting there. Thanks as the old setup was really bad at times.

Seems to be going much faster, but I'm not getting subscription or PM emails. Anyone else have that problem?

Forum is pretty quick for me now, but if I click the Xtreme News section on the main forum index, I get pointed at (once it loads): http://24.120.60.166/forums/forumdisplay.php . If I add the proper "?144-Xtreme-News" on the end, it lets me see the index but if I log in then it keeps me logged out. I can login at the main index fine, and go to an individual thread fine if I had the link saved. The forum index page points me to http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...44-Xtreme-News for the Xtreme News section. The others seem to be working fine.

Unsure about the bugs others are reporting, but the forum is running nice and quick for me, nice work FUGGER
I have a issue that was on the old server, so I don't think it's related. I have 1 "unapproved visitor message" in notifications, under the message it says "This Message is Moderated"
Unsure why any of this, I have no problem with the message or messenger. I'm sure this is a admin issue of some kind. After i click notifications to read, the notification does not clear.
Been showing this notification in red for at least a month, Could you fix it Dave?

You have to "approve" the message before it is posted for everyone to see. I can't see that message.
