    New server online

This is another Xserve with a 15.5k SAS boot drive and a pair of Kingston HyperX SSD drives mirrored.
    It has 12GB of RAM.

The new fiber line is in, the server sits behind a NAT firewall now.

    Nothing is missing, honest.

I had some help getting everything running. Thanks JP for the NAT firewall setup, Promise Technologies for the backup storage, and Kingston for the SSD's.

Will I get 30 billion reads off this disk?

Actually Charles, I do know there is something missing - from the other thread in here "Monday or Tuesday" I know it had more than 12 posts because I posted the "clear your cache" post and someone else (I think it was you?) said yes, do this. And I also then later posted "enough cowbell? " while the site was up for about 5 min before it went down again this last time.

Nothing important disappeared that I'm aware of however, since it was only 5 min here and 5 min there that it was up for a bit. So no biggie.

I just got a database error a few minutes ago, and it took like 30+ sec to open this thread

Hopefully it is just caused by a few quirks that aren't quite cleared up fully.
