RIAA/VEVO Members Caught "Pirating" NFL Game

    http://techcrunch.com/2012/02/09/mus...e-at-sundance/

Over the last decade the major music labels — and their trade organization, the Recording Industry Association of America — have established a repeated pattern of attacking consumers in the name of squelching illegal file-sharing.
    ...
Which is why my jaw dropped when I saw that VEVO, a property jointly owned by some of the biggest record labels in the world, was showing a pirated stream of an ESPN football game at its Sundance PowerStation venue last month — on no fewer than two televisions, and a pair of laptops.
Seriously? THESE are the guys that should be sued for $900 trillion. I've often though of contacting the EFF and doing such a thing; countersue the crap out of them for price fixing and racketeering.

Bunch of hypocrites. What, these guys can't afford a copy of the game so they pirated it?

Typical for Big Media...do as I say, not as I do.

The elites (both political and in Big Media) are happy to permit this type of behavior amongst themselves, while denouncing common folks as immoral and unethical when they do it.

Someone needs to get in touch with the NFL lawyers and go after them. (insert bad football tackle joke here)

They're only humans - probably, they also have pirated music at home... it's the same with most people - doesn't matter in which industry they work and what their job is: cop, judge, president, priest, etc...

Only fanatics follow "idiotic rules made by immoral people".

Yes - we could burn them on a stick for not obeying the rules they impose on the rest of us wile working - but that's just a temporary satisfaction.

Aye! Need to beat them with their own stick and make them see what it feels like.
