    Didn't know where to post this, move this thread if it's in the wrong section.

    Firefox recently updated, and everywhere I go, I have ads. Words underlined and hyperlinked. Is there a way to turn this off?

    Open the Windows hosts file and add the following to the bottom:

    what version of firefox are you running now ? I dont see anything like that on mine

    I'm using the newest version 10.0. This is what I'm getting, just place my cursor over that word section that is highlighted.

    Last firefox update basically wrecked it for me and it wouldn't open. I'm using chrome now
