    vPLL mod for P5B Deluxe?

    Was this mod ever found? Does anyone have details on it and ok to share?

    Anyone?

    Did vPLL even exist on P965? I think it did- if it was the same as vFSB, that would make it really low, but the boards are still good for FSB

    I think we need to check other forums who may edit bioses.
    I have some guys in my profile as friends... But i think guy is too bussy, and he was good with editing..

    Hey Thanks for the post! If it can be done, i'd really appreicate it I guess first of all, there has to be something to control, before a BIOS mod could work.

    For Commando, based on my own experience, vPLL is tied to Southbridge voltage. Benching fsb limited cpus, raising Sb (no not Sandy bridge... :P) volt to max gave the same response as vPLL would on newer boards. Maybe this can explain the rumors of raising Sb volt to boost bclk on modern boards, something I have never noticed helping. This last thing I just realised

    Had a shot. Cranked the SB volts and got another 4FSB. No reason why it won't have been down to this so... thanks!

    Alright! Maybe not too healthy for the southbridge though, but... they are like 1.5 volt stock and max in bios is like 1.8-1.9? Should be ok.
    Otherwise I have a friend who knows how to treat hot southbridges
