The XS forum is going down!

Fiber was installed into the building this week and next week we will be on a 100Mb business connection.
The switching hardware will arrive next week and we are moving off XO communications next week shortly after the new connection is running.

I will give more notice next week to the new IP address when I swap the networks and push the DNS.

The current server is a Apple Xserve 2.8Ghz dual quads with 12GB of FB-Dimm and Apple SAS drives that I will replace with a new pair of drives this year. The mini server may work in time, on the back burner for now.

so basicly what you are saying is that my 60/60mbit home line, on my server with 8GB ram, could host XS alot faster than prior to this upgrade?

FUGGER, thanks for the heads up and for the notice on attachments.

Any chance on getting post text color switched to black by default?
