Urgent help needed (reference 5850)

This problem started two days ago, which I think is from mining these last couple of months.

I have been having problems with the card recently such as it downclocking during mining and not responding to manual fan control in CCC.
Also the fan would increase and decrease at speed instead of staying at a set rpm.

Basically it would make the grinding noise constantly and then when I changed my fan to 100% it made this horrid grinding noise to which I jumped and shut down my computer.

Unplugged and took apart completely, blew out the fan motor/and excess dust.

Put back together, and still the grinding sound. Video below, sorry for bad quality. Was trying to get the surround sound instead of staying in one spot.

// not sure why video isnt working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSeKM...snsl9s3oUtC6d4

I am in desperate need of guidance on this one, this is my college computer and I need it.
My only solution so far is to get a completely new fan kit off newegg.

Thanks for any help guys.

Does the fan have play in it? If so the fan's shot. If not you can take it apart and re-grease the shaft with bearing grease. With prying force at 2-3 points the turbine and shaft pop off the motor.
You can always replace the fan with any old reference ati fan 48xx's and up.

The problems went away for a couple days but now they are back.

Card is running extremely hot and my computer is shutting down randomly. 0% activity, 94 degrees Celcius.

Can anyone recommend me the best price/performance ratio aftermarket air cooler for a 5850?

I wanted to pick up a Zalman VF3000A, but couldn't find it in stock and wanted one urgently, so I got a VF1000, which is alright. I'd definitely go for the 3000A over this, but this thing does the trick.

Apparently this is the only issue with reference 5850's. The fan fails after a couple years. Not bad!
