Most Crucial sets are Microns, but they do use other ICs as well, from Samsung, etc... from time to time.
Mine are due tomorrow. All I can do is test with my 2500K which doesnt have the best IMC in the world, and with an i3 2100. All I got at the moment.

My PSCs (RipjawsX 1600 7-8-7s) can do 1950 7-9-7 with 2 dimms (4GB) and with four dimms (8GB) Ive gotten to about 1900 8-9-8. If the new Crucials run 1866 8-8-8 with less then 1.6V, Ill be happy for daily.

One of the reps just replied on this for you! Double sided for the ones you asked about, and it sounds like all of them are double sided from the info given.

Yes! They replyed and they are DS!. Great, now for sure I'll try one of those kits, altough I like more the heatspreader on the BLE2KIT4G3D1869DE1TX0, I'll buy the first I can get (don't care if they are BLT2KIT4G3D1869DT1TX0). I guess they use the same chips.

I got the email press release on these, and forgot to check it out until you guys made this thread, thanks! Does the Elite have LED's too on top or bottom, or just Tactical on top/bottom?

I just noticed helping someone tonight that Crucial doesn't have ANY Ballistix DDR2 listed anymore, so maybe they are coming out with new DDR2 soon too, or stopping production of DDR2 Ballistix, has anyone heard anything about that?

    *Edit

I see now it's only Tactical Tracer that has LED's

Yes, I guess that too, in the picture of Ballistix Smart Tracer on crucial's website, they show a little square on top-left showing the leds, and the others don't have that...
BTW, thank you for your help on crucial forums.. Cheers!

    Got my kit.
    On Intel p67 can boot but crashes quickly with DDR3 2133 1.65v 9-9-927 1T, 9-10-9-27 1T, even 9-11-9-27 1T.
    Very disappointing.

I already ordered the Elite modules. Had high hopes on this modules after watching the review, but now with LagunaX testing, it's not what we all expected I guess. Please LagunaX, keep us informed on more testing, if you do. Can't believe they behave better on AMD than on Intel.

Yeah, but FX seems very good with DDR3.

I got some elite here and having a hard time to make them keep up with samsung...

    maybe tactical is better.

    I donk't know, strange memory, It wasn't booting windows at 1920Mhz 9-9-9-24-36 @ 1.57v but now it's running prime at 1866Mhz 8-8-8-24-40 1,52v.

It seem that it has no middle terms, if it boots it's stable hehehe

Maybe TRC it's the key, it seems to like volatge cause 1,60v makes it more stable, it doesn't boot but it doesn't freeze as w/ 1.53v

At this moment it sits next to my 4x 2GB Hypers @ 1800Mhz 7-7-7-21.

Anyway imc here seems to sux cause I can't put hyper or anyone else over 2000Mhz. Hypers can boot and run tests at 2250Mhz 8-8-8-24 and 2100 7-7-7-21 but it's not close to stable even at 2050Mhz 8-8-8-24

Samsung still the best option for 8GB cause it primes at 1960mhz 9-9-9 w/ only 1,47v putting the stable 8GB hypers to dust.

I'm going to find out when receives the ripjaws 2133mhz 9-11-9

Try treating them as the Samsungs. 10-10-10-30-1T @ 2133mhz 1.6v then push cas for lower.

So why Crucial sells them @2000Mhz 9-11-9-27 with 1.65V?

In what platform are you testing? Can you show your exact ram modules on crucial webpage?
    Can you do 2133 9-11-9-27 1T or 9-10-9-27 1T ??
    Thank you.

That doesn't seem bad at all. So also for Samsung you use 2T? Since which frequency? And with Crucial?
