    strange bios post

    Hi everyone for about a month ago my pc power supply ed up.so I instaed a
    A corsair 1200w .now a few days I notice that bios loading screen takes slow
    From rog logo to the win7 logo very slogish and slow moving.
    I this because of psu or some thing else.thanks
    By the way using AHCI driver with seagate HDD.

    Seems like no one understand it.
    Here is the Problem explained again.....
    When system first start up bios looks sluggish and slow wen reads all the cpu mem sata drives etc
    And wen windows logo comes up I can clearly notice that 4 windows moves very slowly .
    Before it was no problem when pc loads that windows logos fast. I don't know if anyone understud this problem.
    My sig system under use with this problem.

    Hmm, have you tried to reset/clear the bios?

    yep. reseated cpu, mem, and g card but no go. seems windows is corrupt. still testing...........

    Well, if you install windows with ide-compatible then you dont need sata drivers for sata controller to run windows.
    If you swicth to Ahci- you need sata drivers, Raid- you need sata drivers to run/boot windows.

    This may be one of problems with blue screens.
    Enter bios and use settings that you install with win7

    Can you boot to safe mode and disable auto restart and crash. This will allow you see what the bsod is if you can boot to safe mode.

    i dont get blue screens.
    ok i installed the fresh windows on different partition just to check what it happen but sadly windows is loading the same way. now this looks like a hardware problem to me. what ya ppls think and ideas.

    ok here is some findings.......
    HDisk Sentinel reports "PROBLEMS OCCURRED BETWEEN THE COMMUNICATION OF THE DISK AND THE HOST 6814 TIMES".
    did some google and did not finds any answer. HD tune also reports "ULTRA DMA CRC ERROR COUNT".
    i notice before that this drive was UDMA MODE 7 as active but now is UDMA MODE 5.
