500W seems like decent size PSU for single 2500k and GTX560ti 448.

    How are your temps?

Have you tried flipping the BIOS switch in both positions to see if one position works better than the other?

    SonDa5,
Thanks for your insight on the PSU. It's quite a well built unit but it doesn't meet the "requirements" from Nvidia for amps on 12v rail. Not sure if this is affecting overclocking with voltage increases. I might have just ended up with a weak chip, but I doubt 920MHz is the max

Temps are great both CPU and GPU. Highest temp GPU saw during testing was 65*C at 60% fan. I have not flipped the BIOS switch, isn't it only for fan operation? If I'm controlling the fan speed manually through Afterburner, would switching it over to "Normal" mode make any difference? It's set to "Quiet" right now but it's being controlled through Afterburner. Is it safe to flip the switch while the PC is on or do I power down, switch, then power back on? Sorry if these questions sound a bit silly, I've never dealt with something like that on a graphics card

If your PSU doesn't meet the requirements then it looks like a good excuse for a power upgrade.

I suggested trying the BIOS switch just to see if it would help. Possibility its in the lower power consumption setting. Not sure. I have never messed with my switch but I haven't questioned the performance of my MSI 448.

Neither of my original 560 ti classy's do more than 850 100% stable with 1.050v. My third classy is 1.038v stock, and it does just a little over 900mhz at 1.050v.

I generally don't think these 560ti cards are all that great at clocking... probably why the more 'xtreme' members sorta skipped the product. I wonder why my score is taking so long to show up on the search list?

SonDa5 - I agree but I will keep this unit for now, it's been the most trustworthy PSU I've ever had. Nvidia calls for a minimum of 38amps on the 12v rail (which is the same as GTX 570), and my PSU has 35. With the custom PCB and upgraded VRM of the MSI card, from all the tests I've seen online, the MSI card seems to consume a bit less power compared to other vendors (main reason why I even considered a 560 Ti 448). I knew I'd be cutting it pretty close in terms of power but all in all the system seems to perform really well. I can finally crank up the AA the way I like it, which I was not able to do with the 560 Ti 1GB.

I've run OCCT power supply test with no issues up to 900MHz but my PSU fan really starts to wind up at that point. I'm sure the card could go higher but I really think the PSU is maxed when I try to go higher. But of course I didn't get this card to break records so it's all good. Surely does make for a great gaming rig on a budget!

zoson - I guess you are right, they are, afterall, the GTX 570/580 rejects

I feel like i got a gold sample.

I'm sure with liquid nitrogen my card could do some serious damage.

I can do a few benchmarks at 1.1GHZ.

My card is down clocking to 405mhz after installing beta driver 301.24. Not sure how to fix. Please help if you can.

Had the same problem with 296.10
I backed my OC down from 900mhz @ 1.05v to 850mhz @ 1.025v This solved the problem. I've seen this trend with
many cards in the past, newer drivers typically increase GPU utilization therefore increasing the possibility to crash a "on the edge of stability" OC.

Hey CN, you should join me and Sonda on overclock.net... The 560 ti 448 community is very large there.

Turns out sonda's problem is that for some reason the driver was dropping him out of P0 state... When he forced P0... No problems apparently.
