Lightbulb Quadro for GeForce 276.28 & 275.50 modded drivers

I'm re-making and re-uploading these drivers as they are among the casulties when megaupload got nuked. The purpose in these drivers aside from being something different to try is also to give most of the updates of the latest drivers without giving people the TDR / VGA recovery driver bug.

    Package Contents: 275.50

    Display Driver: 275.50
    3D Vision Controller: 280.19
    3D Vision Driver: 295.51
    HD Audio: 1.3.12.0
    nVidia Update: 1.7.9
    PhysX Software: 9.11.1111

    Package Contents: 276.28

    Display Driver: 276.28
    3D Vision Controller: 280.19
    3D Vision Driver: 295.51
    HD Audio: 1.3.12.0
    nVidia Update: 1.7.9
    PhysX Software: 9.11.1111

    Other Changes:

Changed Maximum Device Memory Configuration from 128 > 256

As always, performance & bug comparisons are welcome. These drivers also have a new date in the INF, so any game you happen to might be playing that moans about outdated drivers shouldn't do that with these drivers.

    Download 275.50 Modded x64 (177MB)

    Download 276.28 Modded x64 (194MB)

How old are these ? anyone have any thoughts and experiences in BF3 with them? I run a single GTX580.
Edit: the second one is from November 11th, just checked.
    There's a 276.52 now from Feb. 9th 2012 !

Theres very little difference between 276.28 and 276.52, the latter I'll look at though as the structure might allow for a additional update. Being in the 276 range still the newer driver will hopefully not have the TDR bug but without testing its anybodys guess.

    276.52 is whql quadro though.
So it probably doesn't have this problem.

I was thinking about posting in the other thread, I do run across the same prob with my new 8 gigs of mem when, and only when I overclock the pcie bus.
I wasn't able to fix it completely (driver crashes gone but still some glitches), it could be my system is heating up to much, but the chipset-nb needed another step up (2 steps up from stock with my 8 gigs, 1 step up with 2gigs and used to be stable...).
And system ram voltage needed to up a bit too, not sure how much.
Maybe it's related, maybe it's not.
On my specific board, the chipset nb handles the pcie bandwith, the higher the pcie speed the more it hits system mem because of the stupid sharing thing that nvidia has going on (don't know how to stop it on the new drivers), it used to hit the vga mem much harder too even way back in the day with an agp card (only cards not effected were pci cards, got one clocked to 250mhz pci once...).

Chipset - nb volts or equivalent (what handles the pcie).
System mem volts, when sharing it.
    Vga mem volts.
Bus speed, pcie in this case.
Adjusting any one of those "might" help a little bit.

Oh and since you know how to mess with inf files..
    ;Error Logging
    ;HKR,,RmLogonRC, %REG_BINARY%,00,00,00,00 ;Disabled (Default)
    HKR,,RmLogonRC, %REG_BINARY%,01,00,00,00 ;Enabled

I assume you know how to locate your driver install in the control/video section of the registry to add this, needs restarting...
If not then apply to the inf.
It'll show you the errors in the windows logs.

Sadly, WHQL means nothing. All it means is MS installed the driver on a system and it installed fine, MS don't do any kind of proper testing.

Very odd. No TDR bug on any nvidia cards I tested the 276 drivers with, but I don't have any 5 series cards.

Well in all fairness it was in BF3 which can be pretty y. Nothing but issues though while 290.53 and newest 295 beta were stable at same settings.
Need a good quadro driver ! I always had best IQ with them.

Well TBH I don't care about BF3 I play proper games AFAIK you are the only person who has issues with the 276 drivers. You sure you cleaned the old drivers out properly before trying the 276 drivers? Even now after switching back to 276 I still haven't had any TDR problems.
