How so? Could it not just have a very aggressive speed step? Say it's only using 1 core, clock it to 3.8 Ghz, or it's using 8/20 threads, clock it to 3.4?
I don't see anything that shows what it's steppings are...?
9.423 sec with 3.6Ghz SB-E, but 8.83 is very heavy for 2.8Ghz
