Hey Guys,
After seriously debating if I should get rid of my LGA1366 system or not, I had a great opportunity come up for me that may just allow me to fund my venture for my LGA2011 build Now, as some may know, my current 800D was my first WC build, and I'm honestly seriously hooked.
But that being said, I'm quite stuck on Cosmos II and I'm not sure which RADS I'd be using.
I plan on reusing some stuff from my 800D build, but it doesn't seem like it'll work.
I also don't plan on modding the top of the Cosmos II to fit a 480 RAD, but if it's not that painful I might as well. ( I have the tools needed, just need a more of a step by step LOL! Don't have the case yet with me so... )
Anyways, is it true that normal rads like the SR-1 or the Black Ice GTX's won't fit on top? Even with the fans on the outer shell? If so that's a HUUUUUGE disappointment, Luckily I may be able to get away with a thick 240 or two 240's for that matter in the bottom.
My fan choice would be GT 1850 fan controlled, running at 1,000-1,300RPM 24/7.
I'll be doing Dual GPU no doubt, with potential plans for tri-quadfire 7970's. No Dual CPU for me, at least not yet. So I figured I'd probabbly want to come as close as I can get in terms of cooling performance with my current setup, I'll be able to sacrifice about 2-5C delta when it comes to fan vs my current setup. These panaflos at even 1,300RPM are just too noisy.
So any advice?
