Just got my Sapphire 7970 OC Edition.

First bench with these settings.
No problems or heating yet but wondering how far can you saftely go with the voltage.

Not looking for the highest bench on it, Just something good and stable.
Starting out at 4.2 with my CPU and can go to 4.5 Stable but Ambient heating up here and want 24/7 reliable to run.
First Bench.






Have fan slope set up pretty aggresive as to cooling to start.Even at 100% the fan noise barely audible compared to my old 5770 CF setup.
And they were OC'ed and Volted like crazy.

Ok, with tessellation AIR cooled...strange with X preset and tessellation is much more stable (+10-15mhz) )

I think they are on par on 3DM11. But you can disable o lower the Tessellation with the HD7970 and gain over 25% score. In that case, the GTX680 can't match it.

I'm also wondering what bios would be best for HD7970 in general, I recently bumped on sapphire 7970 and I really love the card
