    Overclocking HD5970's

So I've got 2x watercooled Sapphire branded HD5970's with EK full cover blocks on them. What's the best software to use to overclock these cards?

I tried for a few hours last week using Afterburner but had zero luck. They run without issue at stock clocks, but crash when I tried to push them in the slightest.

Really hoping it doesn't require bios flashing.

When I had my Asus and XFX Black Edition I used Afterburner for voltage and ccc for clock settings.

From what I remember most people with Sapphire cards did need to flash them to get decent overclocks.

I saw that thread also, tried the 800Mhz bios, and mine wouldn't display when rebooted, so I flashed back to the coldbug fix 735Mhz one.

Decided to go in a different direction with 4x watercooled 7970 Lightnings. Posted up the 5970's in the FS section.
