Evga Untouchables Rev0.1 testing on GTX285 + other vga's

I tested last weekend a Untouchables Rev0.1 10+3Phase mounted on a Evga GTX285 for the GPU.

first i tested it on Dice, to see how it reacts etc...
And must say :

Evga, DAMN SWEET JOB that you made this thing.

Next runs will be on LN² and hopefully take good places with the gtx285 on hwbot.

Really need some ln² in the house for really bench this card with Untouchable.

i was on max of vga, benching at -180°C @ 1.6vGPU, 1.61vGPU didn't run or 1Mhz higher.

now sacrifice other vga, it's a Evga Untouchables VRM.
They will be soon retail (Rev0.2 i think?)

Most benefit will be on low-end/middle-end and dual-GPU cards, which always limited on power, or motherboards (for example 775 boards for cedarmill OC)
GTX 590 which I overclocked with only 1.2V using two EPower's was able to hit more than 1000mhz w/o hassle.
On old cards like G92, G71, G80 using UT can get from 50-100 to 200+ MHz, depends on conditions and GPU.

Of course, using this is straight way to kill your mobo/gpu warranty, so only for advanced users. Using is simple, just basic soldering and basic PWM controller function idea is need, no need to have PhD to use these

You want to be able to control VID rather than ANY ill-thought FB mod (trimmers), the EVbot is kinda handy for that.

JacobEVGA on OCn stated that they will have a guide to use trimmer instead of EVBot.

IDk i personally like trimmers for voltage control, but that is only if i have a DMM hooked up at the same time. I feel like its more hands on, which I like. Much easier than using software and comparable to a control OC panel like EVBot.

Also Switching Frequency on the Volterra is controlled by resistance on pins? or is it programmed? I know on intersil PWMs they use a certain amount of resistance on a certain pin, might be like this on the volterra. On Chil i think its a user selectable register.

Switching frequency on Volterra VT1156 e.g. is controlled by resistance on R_FREQ pin, but I don't know if it's the same for newer controllers.
I just stopped at HD4890 level, lol. Newest card I have is GTS450, won in a competition.

IDK if this thing uses the 1165, and i don't know how many would want to solder a wire to a tiny pin, but you would need someone like Tin who knows the PWM layout to comment further. I see no reason tho that the switching frequency can't be controlled manually as well.
