    New Danger Den CPU Block

Not sure if anyone else saw this:

    http://www.tweaktown.com/news/22064/...den/index.html

I would like to see the internals, but it looks like a complete new design compared to the older MDX series.

If you want to see all the official pictures we have them here: http://photos.dangerden.com/CPUBlock...156111_MpTkv7m

Includes the pressure drop tests by Martin...and he's doing the thermals now. We also have a handful out in the wild for the lucky ones that requested them in our facebook page. So they'll have some postings going up on their temps and thoughts.

the samples are ending up on E-bay . . .when a person receives ES samples they are not supposed to go sell them on E-bay they are supposed to test them and provide feedback. That would be like people selling engineering sample Intel processors on E-bay.

an empty stomach and rent you can't pay will do that to you. strong character is only good up until you can't eat or put a roof over your head, after that you're just suicidal.

I have been poor but never resorted to theft or lowering my standards by doing shady things. accepting an ES product with the intention of selling it is pretty much theft.

I'll talk to the guy...It was a facebook contest. I didn't have anyone sign an NDA or other documents. It was more of an honor system. It happens...but not worth taking everyone's time discussing.

Looking forward to Martin's testing and an update from at least four others ;-)

That looks a lot like one of the Corsair Hydro cooler fin structures. Nearly identical actually. Too bad I can't find the pics of the one someone disassembled.

It already competes with it pressure drop wise (no wonder, as DD blocks in general often are less resistive then average blocks from competition). Question stays about thermals, if it will manage to keep up cooling performance on par with HF/Raystorm with that little pressure drop.

I didn't get a response back from the person I think it is...so I guess that confirms it. That's too bad.

    It is actually the DX79TO.

I can tell by a few of the pixels and the heat sink design.
