Memory GURUS need some of your help please ?

Hey guys ! I currently use my computer for everything i do. I do some gaming on it here and there but i also do lots of video editing on it as well. I was thinking about going up to 12gb of memory to help with the multi tasking of editing etc , but im not too sure of what memory i should go with ? I was on Neweggs website last night and it seems like lots of stuff was out of stock or there wasnt too much to offer . I def dont want any corsair mem but i am open to other companies . I currently have some mushkins and gskill but its not 12gb . Any particular ones you guys can recommend for me?

Should i go with the 1600 speed with really low tight timing (7) and latency or should i try and get something thats around the 2000mhz speed but a not as low ? prob around (9) latency. Something that will OC well will work too Thanks !!

that will probably bench faster than DDR3 2000 CAS 9
