Just saying thanks...new laptop (Alienware) due in a few days

I am finally replacing my Alienware area 51M 7700 laptop after using it for years. It's mostly been trouble free, but now that SWTOR is out, it is proving to finally be overmatched to such an extent that it will barely run the game.

I looked around the forums and did find some really nice suggestions and just wanted to say thank you. I am pretty happy with the choices I've made. I know that there are other mobile gaming laptop manufacturers out there, and I did look at quite a few, but I did end up purchasing another Alienware (my new one is a M17XR3). It is definitely not cheap, but I know that it will allow me to use it like I did the previous one (for a number of years, realistically running most if not all I want without problems). While I did find and 'build' a few other laptops on other sites that were faster and or cheaper, the final deciding factor for me was the 1 year no interest Alienware was offering. That made the laptop more appealing and easier on my wallet for the short term (and reduced wife aggro).

    My configuration:

    Intel Core i7 2760QM 2.4GHz (3.5GHz w/Turbo Boost, 6MB Cache)
    16GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz (4DIMMS)
    17.3-inch WideFHD1920 x 1080 60Hz WLED
    2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M
    750GB 7,200RPM HDD
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1, English, w/Media
    Slot-Loading Dual Layer Blu-ray Reader (BR-ROM, DVD+-RW, CD-RW)
Internal High-Definition 5.1 Surround Sound Audio
    Killer Wireless-N 1103 a/g/n 3x3 MIMO Technology

My only complaint thus far has been has been due to Dell buying out Alienware. They are a bunch of idiots and I cant believe how difficult they made a very easy and previously simple process. I ended up on the phone with them numerous times and got so tired of talking or chatting with people who (and my apologies if this offends someone, as its not ment to) cant speak well enough english that we could easily communicate. Shame on Dell and all the other companies that are shopping out their tech support and customer support overseas. There was at least two times where I was within about .5 of a second of telling them to cancel the order when talking to them.

Hopefully the computer will be a better experience than the Dell support.

    Thanks again.

When trying the chat via computer, they were just as inept. There may not have been an accent issue, but there was still communication issues. Most times, the reply was to 'call for support', so I did.
