Talking Rampage IV Extreme-4x580-3960X LN2 more fun with Vantage and 3D11

A month ago after i got R4E but not more time for extreme benching only can playing in a short time for review and more mobo still waiting for review
but that one thing is good for learning to SNB-E and R4E and RAM, then after main work finish it time to benching with awesome board for SNB-E from all i
have a chance to tried 11 model for X79 mobo, well let to see what happen for it

before i move to LN2 benching i have a lot of try with water cooling which ambient around 23C from two chip 3960X i have both chip are lot of different for feeling,

-first chip is #3127Bxxx C0 (ES) it can't boot for over 1.25 bclk ratio but it strong for mem controller can play g.skill 2133gbzhd-16GB easy at 2400mhz 10-12-10-30-1T, 1.67V
and this chip like high Vcore if it to low performance on Vantage/11 will drop on cpu test

-second chip is #3134Bxxx C0 (ES) this chip is amazing for air and water cooling it easy boot for 1.25x/1.66x bclk ratio and memory at 2400mhz but memory controller
it not to strong like first chip for g.skill 2133gbzhd-16GB(hynix BFR) it didn't play at 2400mhz for 1T is timing as first chip only can do 2T and need abit high Vmem about 1.7V
but it very strong on PSC ICs ram i can pass Spi32M at 2500MHz C7 with 1.72V boot and 1.76-1.78V for running

I have noticed something which bclk ratio between 1.0/1.25x and 1.66x if i try to bench with 1.25x ratio and increasing more bclk to over 128mhz Vantage performance of
physics test will slow but for 3D11 it like high bclk that mean high bclk to high memory too, i compare with 128bclk/1176mhzC7 and 130bclk/2426mhzC7 as same cpu clock
and if on 2D performance seem 128mhz bclk will little bit better 130mhz bclk for Spi32M. For 1.66x ratio at 150-156mhz bclk memory bandwidth it not to good if compare with
100mhz or 125mhz bclk by same clock for memory and cpu clock, As I understand it is probably due to the real bclk for 156mhz is only 93.975mhz(x1.66) and after bclk running to low
that mean DMI and Pci-e will running to low too(if i don't misunderstand) that why make some 3D bench to lower.

okay..i think it much of words and don't know will have how many people understand of my bad english words above so here we go for some fun of mine benching with R4E rock star of SNB-E

    Setup & rig.

    3960X@5.46GHz #3134Bxxx C0 (ES) : -50C for bench (-65CBB, -77CB)
    RAMPAGE IV EXTREME (0083bios)
    G.SKILL F3-17600C7-4GBPIS (PSC ICs)
G.SKILL F3-17600C7-4GBXHD (PSC ICs *same code with PIS )
    3x MSI GTX580 Lightning
    1x ASUS GTX580 (original )
    Antec High Current Pro 1200W
    GIGABYTE ODIN Pro 1200W
    Seasonic 750W

Little bit run some 2D benching for checking performance scaling.

    SLI@980/1200MHz - P56585

    3xSLI@977/2400MHz - P65865

    4xSLI@950/2400MHz - P71232

    3DMark 11 Results

    SLI@980/2400MHz - P15342

    3xSLI@967/2400MHz - P20248

    4xSLI@952/1200MHz (CPU only 5.4G) - P23985

    4xSLI@952/1200MHz (CPU only 5.4G) - X10131

for this chip after try under subzero it very different feeling again with air or water cooling is ever boot easy at 150Bclk+ but now it can't under subzero
that like Nickshin have told early is memory controller will alot problem under subzero but i just lucky is it can boot at 1.25x bclk and memory still can touch
    2400MHz C7-11-7-28-1T, 1.72V(1.7V load), Vccsa 1.3V, VTT 1.25V, PLL 1.925V, Clock Gen filter 20uf or Disable sometime.

    finally with 156.2Bclk by water cooling and DDR3-2500MHz C7-11-7-28-96-1T - Spi 32M done !

btw. everyone see something wrong ?.... on cpuz logo of SNB-E changed from black to blue i don't know too what happen on it

    Thank you
