It worked after i tested the single dimms in the single channels. One channel is strong, rest is much weaker. But i found that one dimm can pass 2400 cl10 spi in that weaker channel, and now with 8gb it passed too

1.55v vDimm, VDDR +0.025v, 1.35v NB. will now test for lower NB volts...

Good to see you got it sorted man. Alex, good luck with your kits, pretty sure out of 3 kits you will get some decent sticks.

mhm i cant get them really stable tho. I can game 2h or sth, but after that spi fail. I dont like too high volts on the nb tho, cause i run a oc/uv optimized setup.

if someone has some experience with drive strength settings for this ram, that would be highly appreciated

Someone preferably with AMD wants to share timings too maybe?

Bump 'cause this ram is dirt cheap right now at the egg.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D=89ps70x1evbp

2x4GB kit is $36, with F/S, plus currently the Egg has a 15% off code (EMCJNHE45), which brings the price down to the $30 range for 8GB of this stuff. Pretty good performance for the buck, anyway you slice it.

Not the best of times to be a ram manufacturer, is it?

Heck, not the best of times...period.

They're the same, but in my opinion they're not such great bang-for-the-buck in Europe. For about 20€ more you can get the TeamGroup 2400 kit at Caseking.

I think your chances for reaching 2800 are higher with the TeamGroup than with the Samsung Low-Profile. The TeamGroup should still be built with Samsung chips as well so they're essentially the same, just binned for 2400. You can find some results of the TeamGroup kit in this thread.

Heads up, these dimms are down to $16 each on Newegg.

    Use coupon code EMCJJNH45

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820147094

I just ordered 8 of them. Going to bin them individually and try to get a pair of 2600's for 24/7 daily use. Should fly with a 5ghz 3770k.

Having some binning fun...week 21 is awesome. 8 out of 8 sticks booted into windows at 2600mhz 11-11-11-28 at 2600mhz with 1.65v. So far, 3 of the 8 are memtest stable. I really want 4 sticks for 16gb of 2600...just my luck to get three!

Week 19 not as good. Immediate memtest errors at same timings and speed for both of my sticks.

    Binning 1.55v @ 2400mhz next.

Can anyone suggest some settings to make these stable with 4 sticks? I have four sticks that individually memtest for 8 hours perfectly at 1.65v 2400mhz 10-12-12-25, "2x4gb samsung medium XMP setting" on my MVE, but when I run them all four at once they throw memtest errors pretty quickly.

If you have a Fry's or Micro Center near you, you can pick them up locally. Otherwise, NewEgg.

Found a webshop in Sweden with those in stock:
    http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/m...V4G3/US-specs#
But according to theire website the modelnumber is: M378B5273DH0-CK0 and not CH9 what would the difference be?
Think they will have the same chips as the others (HCH9)? Will OC still be about the same?

had anyone tried Corsair kit of Low Voltage CML8GX3M2A1600C9W?
This is 2x4GB 1600 set, low profile, low voltage. Is it possible for Samsung HCH9 for them?

Or maybe Viper Xtreme Division 2 (PXD38G2133C11K) will be better than Corsair kit?

    This Corsair kit?
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233199

If that is the correct kit, it didn't clock like you would expect Samsung based stuff to do in this review (first one that I found), and with "ver 2.12" on the labels, you would not expect it to be Samsung:

    http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/ram/31...memory/?page=2

Corsair modules made with HCH9 have "ver 4.13" on the modules' labels, so if you can put your hand on the kit, look for this. The pics on the Newegg product page also show a module with "ver 2.12" (same as Hexus review), which should be Elpida ICs, based on the chart available on the Corsair forums. Corsair may use different ICs on this model line, so if you get these you might have something else.

With respect to the Viper, the CL11 on 2133 sticks almost surely points to Hynix CFR based stuff, not Samsung, so if you are looking for Samsung ICs, don't go there.
