8120 with 1.3vid ... 1.65v for 5000mhz...i always seem to find the Volt leakers haha

Today i grabbed two 8120's for a friend and I
..but both chips are not equal, one ran 4900mhz and the other just as my FX6100 @ 5000mhz with a little more heat .

    Using the 990FXA UD5,,

The 1.3vid 8120 uses the same Volts for vcore as which my FX6100 does for the same clocks .
The NB prefers 1.37vid instead of 1.32vid like the FX6100.Probally due to the extra core and heat it creates.

Whats very interesting is that the other 8120 with 1.285vid did not like going above 4900mhz and 5000mhz stability was horrid .
Seems to be some truth,, the Higher VID/Vcore chips that use 1.3vid and above stock do like more volts and will most likely be way better clockers for a stable 5000mhz system.

8120 stock is 1.3vid runs cinebench at 1.648v

8120 stock 1.285vid @ 5000mhz @1.568v. throwing 1.6v didnt even budge it , giving less was even worse

Tweaking some more and will try to lower my voltages some on the 1.3vid chip. Like i was saying some of these chips just like volts.

If your 8120 has a VID of 1.3v, it is NOT a leaker...

If your 8120 has a VID of 1.381v, I feel really bad for you...

I think the ideal VID for 8120 is between 1.25v-1.275v, considering lower clockspeed compared to 8150.
