Finally - Cooler Master's COSMOS II is coming...

My guess is that this case will be exactly as we peeked in those "prototype" pictures...

From the preview pictures I have to say that I am not impressed with the interior design of this case.

You still want that longitudinal HDD cages, right?
Better forget, the market is turned other way for quite a while.

I'm more concerned with the exterior though, too much "Transformer" style....
The interior is ok, like a normal-oriented TJ11

The longitudinal cage still has advantages and also contributes to a better airflow in a case. I absolutely hate this in an EATX capable case and not to mention the limited watercooling support in this case.

Cooler Master Announces The Cosmos II Chassis | techPowerUp

    but the price....

KitGuru says: Sources inside the Cooler Master booth confirmed that both designs will be in stores in time for Christmas. We anticipate the Trooper being around the £100 mark with the Cosmos 2 closer to £149.

$450 is way too steep IMO. The interior looks way too cheap for that kind of money.

the reviewers says it feels high end, but there is a MAJOR flaw.

how can a case with 340mm width be SO stupidly tight to fith a THIN RAD on the internals?

the fan is so near the tray, impossible for thicker rads, both on the inside, even with no fans, and on the space between the top panel and the case itself, looks too shallow for anything with more than 30mm

They need to reduce the price about 200 USD to compete with other cases similar on the market.

We heard you the first time.

The price in North America isn't bad. $350 isn't outrageous.

man, the Cosmos 1000 could/does fit thicker rads (and I think was roughly $250 selling price). I have one of the XSPC RX triples with a 12mm shroud above my mobo (so, 75mm, just shy of 3 inches). Same as this one, I've got the fans in the space between the decorative plastic top and the case metal using a coolmeister-style mesh mod for airflow.

speaking of, I would love to see what he does with this case.
    i7 2600k, 8GB 1866Mhz DDR3, GTX560 Ti, Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4, CM Cosmos 1000 Case, and some green crap everywhere.
