Zalman now selling AMD Radeon cards.

"Korean company Zalman, known more for its innovative PC air cooling solutions, PSUs, and cases, entered the graphics card business. The company is now an AMD Radeon add-in board (AIB) partner, and started its lineup off with some upper-mainstream models. It makes perfect sense for Zalman to enter this business, as it holds some expertise with high-end graphics card cooling solutions. Zalman can source PCBs from any of the major foundries such as PC Partner, Hightech Information Systems, or TUL, and assemble its coolers on top of them. Zalman's first three graphics cards are based on Radeon HD 6870, HD 6850, and HD 6770, with AMD reference clock speeds. What markets Zalman will target its new graphics card lineup with, is not known."

they could've designed them better, pretty much generic-looking cards. XD But anyway..
...I expect they'll have superior coolers than any AIBs(just don't look at the photos

).
Also, bring in the 69xx cards!

Yup, HIS boards and cooling solutions with Z slapped on top.

I wonder if Zalman will be releasing cards with their own aftermarket coolers? That'd be great.

they went with the lowend which is pointless cause those cards have no problem staying cool already.

This. How on earth did they miss this one? Odd timing anyway, 7 series in mid Jan.

Would be neat to have an alternative at launch for cards with quiet and efficient heatsinks. Down with the screaming hamster wheels of the past.

im with everyone else. it would be GREAT to see some AMD cards come stock with a half decent cooling solution from zalman. if the prices were close to the same it would be a no brainier over any other brand.

I think so too, I mean it won't surprise me if they'll only release a limited number of 68xx and 69xx cards now that HD 7xxx series is within a few months.
And those plain looking cards w/ not so bulky coolers is not a concern til HD 7xxx, coz after all its Zalman... Zal... Man...

I'm fairly sure Zalman makes a ton of passive cooling junk as well, which is really where they should be with lower end cards. Zalmans monkier has always been more about quiet cooling than raw cooling power.
