Unfortunally, I could not set higher than 1.92. If I set higher, the voltage and clocks gets lowered. Feels like OVP. When running all 8 cores at (for example) 5.6GHz with 1.6-1.9v, it feels like OCP is kicking in.
SP1M was done at 7808MHz.

But we kind of ran out of time to spend more time trying to run with higher clocks. (me and Calathea)

Seems similar to my chip or a little better, considering you're on air cooling. VID is the same.
I will try mine on LN2 soon, but I have Crosshair IV board only, so I'm not sure if it will allow me to reach the max.
Definitely try another board, should be possible to run higher with full load on 8 cores.

I took that chip back today, and got a different one. Unfortunatly all they had were 11xx PGN's....
I really hate to return things, but that one definetly had problems (most likely slipped past QC)!
This one is alot better than the last one (the 0001 serial#)...
At the very least it'll run P95 without hanging, and doesn't have the stability problems I saw with the other chip!
Heres a Pic:
Obviously, I still have alot of testing to do, but this one seems to be at least as good as my 8120...
Mr. Yellow said to save some $$$ and go for the 8120. At this point, I have to agree with him!
I really expected much better performance from the 8150 (based on old timey experience with AMD chips).
Reguardless of model#'s, it still looks like the CPU VID is the most important factor from my POV (depending on cooling OFC).
Anyway... Heres some early testing results with the new chip (VID @ 1.2625):

I'm wondering if I should open an RMA for mine, I've had a really rough time with it. Even at stable settings TurboV Evo has been crashing and once in a while I get the aero issue.

My current chip is 1146 PGN just like Dave's...not so good.
I thought I was able to play games and do most things at 4.8 / 1.47v 24/7 but I was wrong. I got crashes every once in a while so I backed down to 4.7/1.45v.
I still get the aero issue at least once a day, even at my stable settings of 4.6 / 1.41v. Considering I'm running ~25-30c cooler at stock than the stock cooler, I think I'm going to install it and see what I can do with it.

1140 chip has blossa, me, froxic and all looks good chips. With my chip is the biggest problem "hot". If I could better temps, 5 GHz will be not problem for Cinebenchs etc. My limitation is 1.44V as maximum

It ran blend for about 7 minutes @ that clock, but after further stressing today I had to lower it quite a bit.
Looks like it's not quite as good as my 8120 after all. Ambient temps are a little higher, but still...
This chip needs a little move voltage and temps come into play @ anything over 1.425, scaling continues with v's though.
I may have to stick this one outside some cold night...
Heres a 40 minute blend (chip gets flakey over 62c, and this was right on the edge):
Beep: Didn't realize yours was a week 46 too. Seems like these chips are hard to nail down by codes right now.
Hopefully, they'll get better with the process and we'll get some consistency.
FlanK3r: I'm keeping 8120 (it's my baby ).
PatRaceTin: I wouldn't be in any hurry... It's still too much luck of the draw (as always/but worse).
Hopefully the B3 stepping will be out soon and settle things down.

Dave, my chip doesn't like to run Prime at high voltage either. I can't do Cinebench at 5 Ghz as well.
It seems our chips are equal after all, I should be able to pull close to 4650 Prime95 stable.
Try max Cinebench in normal ambients, I'm curious to see what you get.

just gotten a fx8120 (1146pgt) few days back & horrible thing happened. one of the mosfets was burn when i prime the chip @ 4GHz with 1.3xv.
can you guys advise that will there be such problem on CHV? bought one last nite to replace the toasted board & I'm scare to use the chip already.

At the same voltage the 8120 runs a little hotter. The thing that makes it good is that it doesn't need as much to reach the same (or better) clocks...
