    Foxconn BlackOps heatsink installation

    Hello everyone,

I just bought a Foxconn BlackOps and there is a bracket attached to the back of the board. I have been using a Enzotech Ultra-X and wanted to use on the foxconn board but the holes are much smaller than the size needed for the Enzotech. Does the bracket attached to the back of the board come off? I noticed these holes are threaded also.

I didn't try it cuz I didn't want to damage it. Maybe this board takes a different type of HS where it doesn't install from the back of the board.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Foxconn BlackOps has no any bracket attached to the back of the CPU socket:

Okay, I understand why I couldn't find it...it's because it wasn't there in the first place.

I bought this board used and the previous owner put the backplate on it. I got it off.

Thank you sir for your response.
