The only thing changed with this bios is the new Intel Raid Rom has been inserted for the older one.

I am getting lock ups while gaming with my new cards. Is there a voltage I need to bump up to run to OC'd 7970's? I just want to rule out issues here. I have tried both cards solo, diff slots etc.

Was the system stable previously? With what cards?
Your tried single card, what were the results?
You shouldn't need to with only 2 cards, but did you try connecting the EZ Plug power connector?
Did you set your PCIE slots to GEN 2 or 3?

You should not use 2 monitoring programs at the same time. It can cause problems. Were these recorded on seperate measurement times? Under load? If under load you will get some droop. Set LLC to Medium or High. If you set to High be sure to cool your VRMs.

Yes it was extremely stable with a 5850. Single card same results, tried them both separately. I havent tried the EZ plug because the manual said it was for quad sli. I have not messed with any PCIe settings in the bios.

This is for my 3820: Go to CPU Performance Settings. Set CPU Ratio to 39. Disable SoeedStep. Go back to the first menu, Set Ratio again to 39. BCLK to 125 & look at the RAM Speed & choose your prefered clocks. Look down to the CPU Voltages & pick something higher than stock.

This is funny because I've been telling people pretty much the same thing. The board does a great job with most UEFI settings just set to AUTO. Aside from setting XMP for memory if needed, not much else needed. Of course custom tweaking gets you further.

I have only one concern about this way to OC, it is the very high Vcore (1.56), which increase the temp.
I can see some guys can do 5Ghz with only 1.43~1.45V.

160 bclk always looks nice but won't push 3820 to any new highscores...125er strap seem to run better...
3820 is like 2600K on pcie-steroids...not more...

Looks good to me. And WOW! What are your ambient temps? the 3930K seems to run cool. and 4.8 at only 1.336V? WOW! I can only do 4.0ghz MAX with those volts on my 980X..
