    Subscribing!

Also, hate to ask a noobish question here so early in this thread, but is there a way to load default values into the Extreme Tweaker pages of the UEFI without affecting all the other settings. Loading Safe or Optimised defaults resets the entire UEFI. The clear CMOS button on the IO does what I'm looking for, but I was looking for a way while inside the UEFI. I must be missing something simple.

Sure! Load optimized defaults, then set everything else you want to mean 'default'. Then save that as one of your OC profiles. When you need to reload it after clearing CMOS or if you just want to go back to where you were while in the UEFI, go and load that OC profile.

I dont think so. I just set up a defaults oc profile that has my HD config, fan monitoring disabled, etc and load that.

EDIT - hokie ninjaed my response!

Good idea. I would just need to reconfig that "default" profile on BIOS flashes. Although that's been just about every day lately
    Thanks guys!

I got my MB some time ago but had to wait for the X.

The MB is just great but I had a scare with 0901, not really sure wat happened but as soon as 0901 was installed the CPU heated up and started throttling, downgrading to 0083B did not seem to help but luckily switching bios worked.
So, I'm staying on 0083B for now.

I've played a bit and it looks like it'll do 4800-5000 easily at low vcore and temp. (batch#3133B429)
I'm just looking for an overall good performer for 24/7 work related usage and i'm already happy with the performance.

For anyone looking in the US, Newegg has the R4E back in stock, the 469.00 bf3 version. Also 3930k's back in stock.

I was about to push the button on a 3960x but kept looking to see if the 3930k would hurry the hell up and come back in stock to prevent me from spending the extra $$$ for a chip I really dont need, and it finally showed up. So I ordered another 3930k and a 16gb kit of Mushkin Redline 2133 c9. I have tried for many many hours to boot at 2400mhz but the IMC is just not going to allow it I guess.

Can someone help? I might be being retarded because i'm tired but how do i setup RAID 0 on this board? Ive got two SSD's connected to the 6g SATA ports, ive set SATA configuration to RAID ain the BIOS, and then set the two SSD's to RAID 0 in the intel RAID menu (CTRL + I on boot) but now when i go to install win 7 it cant find any of my other hard drives or my DVD drive. The win 7 install only detects the RAID array so i get a message about it not being able to find the win 7 disc. What am i doing wrong??
