    Cased Single Stage

I've been really busy this past yr . I manage to put together a S.S. in a case using the Danfoss SC18CLX.2
The unit will hold 300W at -35C but I have to overcharged to do this. It works fine for benching and gaming as long as it's loaded. I do get floodback at idle. If I tune for 250-275W all is well with no flood back to compressor. Unit runs best at 70F - 75F room temperature. I worked with getting these cases and condensers made through Cooler Express. I gave them dimensions and they had them made for me. I do all assembly here in my shop.
There is no controller. Unit must be manually turned off and on. Front fan has a speed controller but it is best to leave at full speed for max load.

You didn't notice it in picture 1 and 2? He has developed the super flexible invisible adjustable-length flex line

I made three so far. One of them I sold to AMD. Suction line has been 4 and 5 ft. long but I can do 3 - 4 - 5 ft by request.

Thanks for the help with getting this setup Bill and thanks Adam for your kind words - Now Adam, what do you want???

It might start coming back Scott with 3960x's.

I have built a few units here, but still on x58 setups.

    soo clean!

thick rubber bushings for mounting the compressor... i would imagine rubber feet for the housing (since you put it on your hood).... danfoss compressor.... neoprene insulation bits on the cap line... quiet seems to be the key here.

    do want! cant afford

^I dont think quiet was his main goal, these things are beasts, ask anyone that has one. This came highly recommended by some top benchers.

Couldnt resist, hooked it up to my old giga p67 and a 2550k, did a little playing around on my 24/7 install of w7.

Chip needs a ton of vcore, it ran very hot on water, 55 wasnt even benchable on chilled water.

it was more of a comment in the details of the build that make it "quiet." ss are never really "quiet" but i bet that danfoss is like a whisper compared to a similar rated rotary.
