    Thank you, Eldonko-san.

I think it's a sort of unique character of SB CPUs.
I did quite often bench modPI 8M/32M on SB 2500K/2600K at the same clock speed of 1M.
BTW, those SBs were just so-so ones though

    Wait, what?! DDR3-2200+ C6-9-6 and DDR3-2400+ C6-11-6.

    Impressive stuff

Actually, Katana members have G.Skill F3-17600CL9D-4GBXMD.
    Thy are also awesome sticks.
The highest modPI 32M run they achieved on SB 2600K (about 5.09G on air) was BCLK108.3 2311MHz @6-9-6-19-1-4-60.

The memory was totally sold out in Japan when I seek, but I found those F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD in Ireland.
I guess they grown up while traveling around the globe

    Thank you, James-san.

My initial impression was that it might not be worth benching as seen those awesome results on SB.

But, it's turned out be very much fun to bench modPI32M with SB-E on R4E.

I bet you will enjoy for sure.

Look forward to your awesome results.

    Hi Peter-san,

What a amazing cpu & PSC sticks you have

Have you tried with 125 cpu strap @CL8 timings on the system?
I don't know why got even better results than its CL7 settings (not sure about @CL6 as no-go on my system)
May be higher IMC's internal latency due to ring bus?

BTW, just wondering why there is no DDR3-2000 (1:15) option in memory frequency...

haha Peter I am super proud to see you benching 32m!

i have to agree with fredyama-san, those are crazy sticks, are they the same sticks that did maxmem at 1180 6-8-6 at computex?

tbh there doesnt look to be a great deal wrong with your run, i havnt tested 32m on this platform for performance at all yet, but if its anything like previous platforms your 6 cores may be hurting you, 2 might be worth a try,

it also might be like fredyama has said, your CL might be too tight and dropping you a few seconds, i know your TWC would be tight? again TWC too tight can be the reverse on performance..

    Is quad channel not helping?

    Thank you, miahallen-san.

Here are ss for quad & triple channels on air @5G tested before LN2 benching.

In my case, just a small improvement on triple-channel.
Slot B1/C1/D1 was better than A1/B1/C1 though the results might be just calculation variation

    Slot: B1/C1/D1

    Slot: A1/B1/C1

    Quad

    Interesting comparison.

What happens when you, for instance, use 2c or 4c config? Triple channel still faster than quad ?

Assuming you are referring to set #of cores in bios.
Sorry, I never use 2C or 4C config in modPi

HIWA = SHOWOFF, pictures or didn't happen :p
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

if its anything like P67 it may depend on your chip IMC on how tight you can set latencies

Interesting, thanks for the heads up.

Have you asked Intel for a technical explanation? Latencies a lot lower with triple?
