The boards sold like hot cakes. Scan and OCUK had them in stock this morning and they're all gone. As are the cheap special offer Xtreme chips.

Tip: Use a second KB for OC Key and install a ROG Connect switch. Otherwise you will have to get up and press it on the mb 100 times each time you bench.

Raja is it my ES CPU or does the Sabretooth not allow any Bclocking (1.0 divider) with the 2400 divider... need to get another board to test this CPU on...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    G.Skill F3-14900CL9Q-16GBXL

NewEgg didn't have much else in the 4x4GB department. 9-10-9-28 @ 1.5v, I'll slap 1.65v on them and see if I can lower the timmings or up the clk.

Lets hope I can get ~5Ghz on the ~30k.. I have the Corsair H80; works great on my 990X at 4.45Ghz.
I can't wait for my 6GB to 16GB upgrade... Lightroom with fly I betting.
    Now: Asus R4E with Intel i7 IB-E 4930K @ 4.4Ghz, Patriot 2x ( 2x8GB) 2133CL11 @ 2400 CL11-12-12-30-1T-1.64v

Raja, what is the major difference of the Marvell PCIe 9182 controller on the Z68 boards and the ASMediaPCIe SATA controller on the X79 boards?

9182 is on the Z68 ROG boards. 9128 on some Z68 models and X79 models, X79 ROG gets 2X ASmedia (eSATA and SATA 6GBPs).

9128: With additional support of Hardware RAID or HyperDuo. PCIEx1 interface.
9182: With software RAID support, no HyperDuo, PCIE x2 interface.
Asmedia: With no support for RAID, no HyperDuo, PCIE x1 interface.

    Asus Sabretooth with 0709 bios
    3690X C1
    Corsair GTX8 2400Mhz C10 rams
    Asus GTX 480 GPU
    Corsair AX1200
    Corsair H100 cooling

We tried every combo possible, if I drop to 2133 divider eg I can go easily to 107Bclock, tried the 1.25 multiplier,... all no go... 100Bclock and 2400Mhz works, any higher not... need a bios to unleash the potential of these sticks... (or a board :p)

Sabertooth UEFI validation takes longer so may be a few weeks before the next update but I will ask. Would be helpful if you can compare that CPU on another board also. Also PM me with sub-timings for DDR3-2400 divider please (all of them).

I am thinking about getting the P9X79 WS board, but I haven't seen any reviews for it and I am worried that it wont overclock as well as the PRO or R4E. I am going to be watercooling it in a very high performance loop; what kind of overclock should I expect on this board?

4 DIMM clocking is already good. It's for 8 DIMM as stated.

Anything particular about the P9X79WS ? Seems to be a good choice for me with its PCIe spacing and my 2 3SLOT cards + a "laying aroung" Revodrive that wont work on my MIVE with my current PCIe arrangement.

My logic is that the WS could also be "better" for my Revo, i mean better compatibility.

The EVGA classy X79 also have correct PCIe spacing for me. Or the X79 Asus Xtrem.

I alwais been an Asus fan ( have over 20 registered product on my Membership page ) and the WS interest me alot. Anyone tryed it ?
